Our Thermostatic Radiator Valves, or TRVs as they are often called, grant you the ability to automatically manage the flow of hot water into your radiator based on the surrounding air temperature. These valves let you set a specific temperature for your room and the valve will regulate the water flow in the radiator to maintain that level. This provides your rooms with consistent temperatures without you having to manually adjust the valve.
All of our TRVs have a mechanism filled with either liquid or wax that will expand or contract depending on the room temperature. As the temperature of your room rises, the liquid or wax expands, pushing the pin that closes the valve and restricts the flow of hot water into the radiator.
